The Beginning
It all started two years ago when I felt sluggish and was easily out of breath. My energy was low, and I often turned to sugar for a quick pick-me-up. The problem was, those sugary snacks led to crashes, mood swings, and weight gain.
One day, as I was researching ways to feel better and get healthier, I stumbled upon the ketogenic diet. It promised a lifestyle where I could burn fat for fuel, maintain steady energy levels, and, interestingly, still enjoy sweets — provided they were keto-friendly.
The Initial Struggle
Transitioning wasn’t easy. The first few days were marked by the infamous 'keto flu' – fatigue, headache, and irritability. Giving up my daily dose of bread, pasta, and especially my favorite caramel macchiatos was harder than I thought. But every time I felt like giving up, I would read inspiring keto success stories online, reminding myself of the light at the end of this low-carb tunnel.
The Revelation
About three weeks in, I started to feel the changes. My energy levels were more consistent, the foggy brain feeling had lifted, and my cravings for sugar had reduced dramatically. That's when I started to experiment with keto baking.
